Conditions of cancellation

GENERAL CONDITIONS
 
Deposit : (art.1590 civil code)
 
In order to guarantee the reservation and to compensate  the hotelier in the case of a shortened or cancelled stay, the client will be asked to pay a deposit equal at least to 30% of the total amount of the stay.
This deposit is acquired to the hotelier as a compensation for breach of contract. It is deductible from the amount of the invoice only when the contract is entirely executed, thus without modification of date or reduction of time, except mutual agreement. Any reservation becomes effective only after payment of the deposit.
If you  paid the deposit :
-    In case of cancellation on your part the hotelier keeps the entire deposit.
-    If it is the hotelier who cancels, he has to give back double of the deposit.
 
PARTICULAR CONDITIONS
 
Reservations are firm after payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total stay.
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (or an email)
Cancellation notified 30 days in advance : deposit is given back
Cancellation notified between 30 and 16 days in advance : half of the  deposit is given back.
Cancellation notified less than 15 days in advance : the totality of the  deposit is kept by the hotelier.
Any shortened stay is completely due.
During the French school holidays any reserved stay is completely due and its amount will be debited from the credit card given to confirm the reservation if the latter was not cancelled at least 30 days in advance.
We deeply recommend you to purchase a cancellation insurance to protect you against these inconveniences.

Reservations are kept till 17 hours. For any arrival after this time, thank you for warning the hotel.
